The "cafezinho" (or expresso) is an important part of any meeting, break, or business transaction in Brazil. I ask you to imagine you are at my home for a cafezinho and a chance to catch-up on the latest news.
Steve and Kristin VanBeveren are missionaries in Anápolis, Brazil. They serve with Asas de Socorro(Wings of Help) and their sending misssion is Avant Ministries. Asas de Socorro is an evangelical mission with the objective of serving the Brazilian Church through aviation, providing mobility and bridging logistical barriers faced by missionaries and pastors in remote locations. ADS serves various missions involved in church-planting, Bible translation, discipleship, lay leadership training, medical clinics, and other strategies that fulfill the Great Commission. Steve coordinates the flight training of missionary pilots. Kristin homeschools her children and works in several different departments within the organization.
Another successful solo flight...Ruben is a non-missionary student who soloed last Saturday. Since he soloed on a Saturday when the other students were not around, he got his "bath" today when he came back from his second solo flight.

I did not know where to leave a message, but I think this Blog idea is great, Steve. I'll be coming back here often to check in and read all this stuff you have on here.
God bless and keep you both! Steve, Leslie, Aubin, and Abby Roanoke, VA. USA

I can't wait until I start flight lessons and I get to solo...I bet that I'll be really nervous, though!
